# Wolf meat probe not reading

### The fastest diagnosis is the code

Unplug the probe and run the oven normally. If everything is fine without it, nothing is wrong with your oven — the probe is a part on its own and it is replaced on its own.

### One test, no tools

The probe is the only part of this appliance you can remove completely and carry on cooking. That makes the diagnosis unusually clean: run the oven without it. If everything is normal, the oven is fine and the probe is the entire conversation.

The probe or its lead

They fail where the cable flexes at the plug, and they are a wear item on an oven that gets used properly.

A wet or dirty socket
