## What we repair on a Wolf, and what each job involves.

Every page here says what the work actually is, what it starts at, and what you can check yourself before paying anybody. The diagnostic is credited toward the repair, and no exact price is given before an appliance has been looked at — a published figure that turns out to be wrong on the doorstep is worse than no figure at all.

25 — jobs, each with its own page

7 — appliance types we repair

from $95 — diagnostic, credited to the repair

414 — error codes decoded on this site

## Every job we do, with what it starts at

A job specific to one appliance has its own page with that appliance attached. There is no grid of seven appliances times twenty-five jobs, because most of those combinations are not work anybody does.

## The work sets the price, not the badge on the front.

A hood motor is a hood motor whatever name is on the appliance, and the ventilation pages here are priced accordingly. What genuinely costs more on this equipment is a professional chassis somebody has to work around in place, an induction generator that is a power supply in its own right, and a steam oven with plumbing inside an oven cavity. Those three are the expensive rows and the pages say why.

Where a job is cheap on this equipment — a knob, a filter, a burner cap seated wrong, most induction call-outs — the page says that too, and says it before you have paid for a visit to hear it.

## Tell us the model and what the display says.

Those two things are usually enough for us to say which job it is, what it involves and what it should cost — before anyone comes out. This brand decodes almost everything it displays, and we publish all of it: a four-character code such as 3C20 names the cavity and the board, and an older E-number or word message places the appliance in time.

## Book the visit, or ask first.

The diagnostic starts at $95 and comes off the bill when you go ahead with the work.
